How much does an Aion 2 server transfer cost?

The base transfer is free — 0 Quna. Each additional character slot you have unlocked on the source server adds 1,000 Quna, so an account with the default slots pays nothing and an account with three extra slots pays 3,000 Quna.

Can I transfer to a different region or faction?

No. Transfers are within the same region and the same faction only. NCSOFT has not offered cross-region or cross-faction transfers.

Do I keep my name after a server transfer?

Not automatically. Transferred characters arrive as @TemporaryName and choose a new name on first login. If the old name is unused on the destination server you can take it back.

What happens to my Legion when I transfer?

You must leave it before the transfer is allowed, and it does not come with you. A Legion leader has to hand over leadership or disband first.

Does my Membership or Daeva Pass transfer?

Yes. Membership, the Daeva Pass, Kinah, Quna and Mileage all carry over. Server Storage items are the main thing that does not.

Aion 2 server transfer

Aion 2 server transfers are bought in the in-game Store and move every character on a server to another server in the same region and faction. A base transfer costs 0 Quna; each additional character slot you have unlocked costs 1,000 Quna. Your Kinah, Quna, Mileage, Membership and Daeva Pass come with you; Server Storage items, Legion membership and your character name do not — you are renamed @TemporaryName and pick a new one on login.

Before you can transfer

At least one character on the source server must be level 10 or higher.
Every character must be standing in a village, with no active Duty and no items in the mail or on the broker that would block it.
No character on the server can be in a Legion — leave it first, and if you lead one, hand it over or disband.
Server Storage must be empty: items left in it are not transferred and NCSOFT does not restore them.
Each destination server accepts a limited number of transfers per hour, so a full server may refuse the purchase until the next window.

What moves and what does not

Moves with you: characters, their inventory and equipment, Kinah, Quna, Mileage, Membership status and the Daeva Pass.
Does not move: Server Storage contents, Legion membership and any Legion role, friend and block lists, and your character name.
Names: every transferred character is renamed @TemporaryName and chooses a new name on first login to the new server. If your old name is free there you can take it again.
Ranked standings, server-specific rankings and anything tied to the source server's occupation state are left behind.

What a transfer cannot do

Change region. Europe to North America, or either to Asia, is not offered — a character in the wrong region needs a new character.
Change faction. Elyos servers only transfer to Elyos servers, Asmodian to Asmodian.
Move one character and leave the rest. The product moves the whole server's roster for that account.
Merge accounts or move characters between Steam and PURPLE accounts — those are already the same servers, linked at account level.

What is still unconfirmed

NCSOFT has not stated the following. We list them rather than guess — if you find a confident answer to one of these elsewhere, it is someone's inference.

Whether cross-region transfers will ever be offered. NCSOFT has said only that the current product is within region.
The exact per-server hourly cap. NCSOFT states one exists without publishing the number.
Whether the 0 Quna base price is permanent or a launch-window price.
